Shannon has been teaching, practicing & leading breath-work classes since 2009. With a multitude of various breath techniques, we will focus on those that combat stress, anxiety & endure peace, and create an overall sense of balance & well being. The beauty of breath-work, is that it helps in the moment, when you're experiencing the stress and as a preventative measure as well.

Some of the physical health benefits of breathwork may include:

  • Balanced blood pressure

  • More time in deep sleep

  • Reduction of PTSD and feelings of trauma

  • Stronger respiratory function

  • Better immune system

  • Release of stress hormones from your body

Emotional benefits may include:

  • Fewer feelings of depression and anxiety

  • Allowing emotional scars to heal

Our initial breath-work class will introduce you to 3 various types of breath-work & we will practice them together so that you can experience these benefits for yourself. 

You will leave with these tools as you walk out into the world empowered! 

My class is 1 hour & 30 min in length. Clients / students will be given 3 various meditation methods. They are labeled as follows - most accessible to advanced. 

Guided Meditation (audio or visual given) 

Breath Focused (Anapana) Meditation ( 3 part breath also described in breath-work class ) 

Mantra based Meditation (a word or mantra is repeated & used to transcend the mind) 

 

Each are put into play for various reasons depending on the clients level & what they are looking to achieve. I am certified as well on all these methods.
